CROSSFIRE is a decent representative of FPS genre. If you’re a fan of military-themed, first-person shooters, you should definitely try out this game.
CrossFire is a free-to-play shooter, where two rival forces, Global Risk and Black List, are engaged in a global armed conflict against each other. According to the Cross Fire lore, Global Risk is an international military force which strives to protect the weak and fight with honor for the justice. Respectively, Black List is a terrorist force, where money is the only thing that matters.
CrossFire features diverse Spec Ops designed in two versions: one is for GR and another is for BL. You can choose whether to play as a mercenary of renowned British SAS, Russian OMON or German GSG9 or to pick original characters available only in CrossFire.

Once you’ve launched the game, you can join an online team to immerse yourself in a bloody battleground where 16 different people (two 8-man teams) should work together to accomplish objective-based scenarios.
Players progress and get promotions through completing matches. Starting at the trainee, gamers can achieve sundry military ranks with the top being Marshall.

Numerous common and unique modes
You will never get bored with CrossFire as it provides over 110 striking maps and modes to catch players’ fancy. Each mode differs not only visually, but it offers an innovative blend of rules and abilities.

Ghost and Shadow modes
Ghost Mode is an exceptional mode where a player will have the opportunity to join invisible soldiers equipped only with melee weapons to hunt their victims or the forces, fully equipped with all available weapons trying to eliminate them.
Shadow mode is similar to the Ghost, except sensors, sprinklers and lasers being added to track the shadow. Some locations in the Shadow Mode have special textures that can compromise the shadow’s position, it can be a broken glass cracking under the feet, for example.

Suppression Mode
This mode has the bomb-based scenario where Global Risk players should defuse the bomb before it explodes. Sounds easy, right? But have in mind that bombers spawn only in few meters from the plant.

Elimination mode
Elimination resembles Deathmatch, except players do not respawn after dying. In Some maps, the task is even more complicated as the players start only with a melee weapon. Start killing and find a gun to become a winner.
CrossFire also has several mutant-themed modes like Mutation mode where one or two infected players should turn everyone into mutants, Hero and Hero X modes where one soldier fights against all mutants or one mutant fights against all soldiers and of course a Zombie mode.
